Stopped in 11:00 at night friendly staff and really great coffee selection and other amenities. Appears to have a lot of accessories for the road warrior, power inverters, radios and such. If you are heading south it’s a great stop before you get into the middle of nowhere
Had the breakfast at the Iron Skillet. Not what it use to be. Personnel were not very friendly and acted like we were a bother. The food was very dried up, grits were so solid I couldn’t get out of the pan, cheap white bread. The entire thing was stale and dry. I was there on a Sunday morning about 9 am. If you are going to eat here maybe try off the menu, I recommend avoiding the buffet.
We stopped here on our way to Idaho from the east coast. We got in around 6:45, the breakfast buffet was just put out at 630 so all the food was fresh. The staff were all very friendly and service was quick. Buffet was only $10 and the food was well worth it.
Great food in Skol tavern a little pricey but good. Friendly staff throughout. They've changed their computer system so they're learning the new. Be patient. They actually have decaf in the store. Yes I drunk decaf. Plenty of choices of food on the go if you don't have time to eat in the restaurant. McDonald and Pizza hut too plus lots of deli sandwiches etc. Pastry case and great gift store with so many choices. Clean throughout. My fav Petro and I've been to many.
After traveling for seems like forever, your store in Albert Lea, Minnesota was a welcomed stop over. This place is a Great travel center to stop and take a break. Wonderful service and I have to give a big shout out to Paula T register #43. She was so kind, so nice and helpful during our short visit to you wonderful store. We will be back again.
