Our first time at this store..
Horrible customer service went to buy a door picked one out and we told the sales representative we still had some shopping to do she says u can wheel it up front put it buy the door seriously she was to busy playing with her daughter instead of taking care of her customers I don't know if that's why she didn't say I take it up there for you while you continue shopping nope rude as ever her name was Jennifer seriously should of went to menards
Terrible customer service. Waited for about 20 minutes after asking an employee for help..she had gone to help someone else with "a big project" (rather than tell them that she was already due to help someone else) and didn't think to call another employee to help. We had our 4 kids with us..so decided just to leave and call in to ask if they could search the shelving unit that we were looking for by UPC. After waiting for about 10 for the phone to be answered..I decided to go to Menards in Rochester instead.
This place is a mess, no one who works there knows where anything is. Went there to take a class workers did not know who was teaching class , where it was or even that they had classes!! Very low inventory , do not carry a lot of usual hardware items. Do not waste your time. go someplace ealse!
Employees are always good when available. Many specific departments are left thin so usually have to wait around to get help. Seems like the store is always a few pennies short of a dollar as far as selection. I've done a few projects the past year and seem to get 9 out of 10 of the items I need and need to get to Menards or Lowe's to finish the list which makes the whole so big a store you only need one stop setep pointless. Had a carpet job a year ago and due to their website scheduling tool not asking all the needed questions the job was 5 yards short but the employees worked to get it fixed. My takeaway, customer service is good but seems to be stifled by problems out of their control.
Great Values and have a large diversity of home building products and customer service is great.
And, while we were in the store, there were plenty of employees that were free/walking around chatting. But they told us that we'd need to ask the employee in that specific department.
