Great atmosphere, music, and fast service. The food was amazing, and they accommodated our special food request of grilled Nopales. Very tasty daiquiri. We're definitely going back for more!
It was against my better judgement! The staff was way past swamped ( giving the fact that a town parade just let out) food was not good - chicken covered in a sauce that chicken was semi cool . Owner or manager took money off my bill and gave free ice cream with fried cheese cake - but I did not like it either. Overall they tried but tonight was not a good night for them. Won't return to this place. But I do think if they were better prepared for the super late rush it might have been a much better experience for all.
Restaurant was recommended by hotel staff as having amazing, cheap food with great service. We arrived and there were several large parties. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the table for drink order and to bring chips and salsa. Food was dry and overpriced. Very disappointed. Locals seemed to love the place, but that could be because they don't know what good Mexican food is. Would not return or recommend.
Very disappointing. Hard shell corn tacos are NOT authentic Mexican. Food was not good at all. We are from out of town so I'm guessing all the good reviews are from the locals who never had real Mexican food. I'm also guessing Plaza Morena is sticking to a menu to make the locals happy. If I'm back in town I definitely won't be coming back. Chips and salsa were disappointing too.
